BBC Radio 4 Food & Farming Awards

We were shortlisted for a prestigious Radio 4 Food & Farming Award. We beat thousands of other entrants to make it to the final shortlist. A panel of twelve respected judges who included Charles Campion, Angela Hartnett and Valentine Warner drew up the shortlist. Sadly we didn’t win an award but we were delighted to have got so far!

We started entering the prestigious Great Taste Awards in 2008 and each year since then we have been successful!

Many consumers will now recognise the Great Taste Awards logo that appears on food products – from chocolate to cheese and from sausages to soup. The Great Taste Awards have been described as "the Oscars of the food world". Devised by The Guild of Fine Food and involving rigorous blind-tasting by teams of experts, only the very best food products receive the coveted Great Taste winners’ stamp.

Taste of the West Awards

Taste of the West Awards

We have held a membership with Taste of the West for many years now, but 2013 was the first year we entered their awards. Taste of the West is a membership organisation that promotes the great food and drink produce of the West Country. HRH Prince Charles, Prince of Wales is patron.

In 2013, we won Gold for our Blackcurrants in Clotted Cream ice cream and Silver for our Clotted Cream flavour. Our Blackcurrants in Clotted Cream was so well received that it was entered into the 'Best Of' awards - and it won! To win the "Best Ice Cream" in the whole of the South West award is a real accolade and we are extremely honoured to have won.

In 2014, our Caramel Fudge in Clotted Cream ice cream won Gold and our Mango Madness won Bronze. In 2015 our new Salted Caramel ice cream won Gold.

Great British Food magazine awards

In 2015 we entered Great British Food magazine’s ‘Farm Produce Awards’ – and we are thrilled to have won! Our Blackcurrants in Clotted Cream ice cream didn’t just win the ice cream category, but the entire Dairy category!

"Wow - this is in a league of its own! The blackcurrant swirl had an amazing, deep, fruity flavour which cut through the luxurious, velvety clotted cream perfectly. One of the best ice creams we've ever tasted." said the judges.

Great British Food magazine can be found at newsagents and supermarkets nationwide. Their Farm Produce Awards was launched to recognise the skilled artisans behind the nation’s finest food. Entries were shortlisted based on the producer's commitment to local sourcing, then taste-tested by a panel of some of the top names in British food, including Nathan Outlaw, Rosemary Shrager, Valentine Warner and Richard Corrigan.

The co-owner of Jigsaw, Belle Robinson, recently picked Marshfield Ice Cream as her perfect Sunday dessert. In an article called 'How To Enjoy Sunday In Style'  for Easy Living Magazine, she wrote that her perfect Sunday meal is meat and veg from her own organic farm, followed by Marshfield Ice Cream for pudding.
