We currently produce almost 30 flavours of ice cream and six flavours of sorbet and we usually add one or two new flavours each year to keep things fresh and exciting. We also make different quality ice creams, including our deluxe dairy and clotted cream ice creams, as well as cheaper ‘back of house’ ice creams. You can view our current flavours and the pack sizes they are available in by visiting our Flavour List page. For more information on flavours and the pack sizes please contact the office.
At present our mini tubs are available to trade customers in boxes of 12, one flavour at a time.
We do make local deliveries so please contact us about availability and distribution. For customers not within our delivery area, we will put you in touch with frozen food wholesalers who cover the whole of the UK.
If buying directly from us the minimum order is just £30+vat. Our wholesalers all have different minimum order values which we can advise you on.
We offer a very comprehensive range of POS for trade customers in both catering and retail outlets. We can offer certain elements free of charge, others are chargeable. Please visit our Point of Sale page for full details on everything we offer and to download this year’s point of sale options. We are also able to offer customers bespoke point of sale so please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Yes! Because we buy hundreds of freezers every year on behalf of our customers we are able to offer excellent savings, which we pass on to you in full. We often include free ice cream to stock up your new freezer if you commit to buying our ice cream. We work with industry leaders Interlevin Refrigeration and can offer a range of freezer types and sizes, all branded in Marshfield’s eye-catching artwork. Please see our Freezers page for full details and to download this year’s freezer deal options.
For long-term storage you should store ice cream at -18C or below. If you are scooping the ice cream you may wish to run your freezer very slightly warmer to make it easier to scoop – many run their freezers at -16C in these situations.
With proper management, you will get 30-35 scoops from a four-litre tub and 40-45 scoops from a Napoli tray.
Luckily, it does not require much special attention. But it is worth doing the following: make sure the freezer is out of direct sunlight and ensure compressor vents are unobstructed, regularly wipe off condensation on glass sliding lids to prevent ice build-up, keep the lids clean and cover with the lid every night to prevent ice forming on the surface of the ice cream.
Ensure you always shake excess water off your scoop, make sure that your freezer is cold enough and doesn’t fluctuate in temperature too much, and replace the clean lids of half-used tubs each night.
We directly employ our own Compliance Officer who carries out extensive announced and unannounced auditing procedures in our factory and is a very hard taskmaster! We ensure our health and hygiene standards are second to none. We achieved 5 stars in our Local Authority ‘Scores on the Doors’ Hygiene Audit this year and we also achieved B grade in our NSF/CMI audit. We welcome customer visits and audits.
Please send your queries to marketing.
