Educating the Next Generation
As a family farm, we know a thing or two about educating the next generation; using our farm as a tool to show how farming techniques have developed over time and a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to run a successful business.
We have two school packages: a School Visit Day, where we welcome our local community to the farm and a Virtual School Kit, meaning schools further afield can get involved in farm life too.
VIRTUAL SCHOOL KIT
Our Virtual School Kit is a way to learn about the farm (and the ice cream) without even leaving your classroom!
You can download our 'Cow to Cone' video, where you'll learn all about our farm, our herd and how we make our ice cream.
The kit also comes with a worksheet, a quiz and the option to have ice cream delivered for your class. It's bound to be the tastiest lesson ever.
The kit is available to download for £30, every penny of which is donated to our charity partner, Jamie's Farm.
SCHOOL VISIT DAY
Our School Days are an opportunity for your class, tour the farm, learn about how ice cream is made and above all, have fun!
As a working farm, we want to make sure everyone enjoys themselves while staying safe and so we have dedicated a day for schools to come to the farm. We have space for four classes of up to 30 children to visit and get fully immersed into life on the farm.
Come along to the farm, see the fields our cows roams and spend time in our ice cream parlour learning about how we make our delicious ice cream - and of course you'll get to taste some! The trip will take around and hour and a half and will be packed full of fun!
We are taking applications are now for our 2025 dates. We ask for a donation of £5 per person, all going to our charity partner: Jamie's Farm.
